Paradoxe

When painting engages in a dialogue with the movement of the body

Introduction

From the outset, Paradoxe was intended as an invitation to reflection — an immersive experience exploring discomfort, combining different art forms and actively encouraging choice.

The project does not seek to impose a single interpretation. It offers a space where the viewer is confronted with tensions: freedom or constraint, identity or social role, logic or imbalance. These paradoxes are addressed simultaneously through painting and dance.

Each artwork constitutes a visual interpretation of a question. In parallel, the music and choreography develop their own interpretation of this same tension. It is not a matter of illustration or a direct translation from canvas to movement. The disciplines evolve side by side, sharing a common conceptual territory while retaining their autonomy.

Thus, Paradoxe becomes a place of oscillation. Between image and movement. Between permanence and ephemerality. Between correspondence and divergence. The experience is not limited to what is seen on stage: it extends into the reflection and conversations it provokes.
