A unique artistic signature between structure and emotion
Rooted in the world of contemporary figurative paintings, his style draws inspiration from pointillism while boldly diverging from it. Instead of traditional dots, he builds his images using broad rectangular strokes, applied with a painting knife and layered like fragments of light. This singular technique, which he refers to as rectangulism, gives rise to vibrant, dynamic compositions.
Each stroke, carefully placed, explores color, form, and texture. The relief created by the painting knife enhances the physical presence of the artwork, while the interplay of colors invites the viewer to explore, interpret, and feel. This approach blends structural precision with expressive freedom, offering a truly unique visual and sensory experience.
