Contemporary pointillist portrait from the series of acrylic paintings Faces of Africa entitled Wokabi
Interpretation of the artist
Here is another character from the Faces of Africa series who inspired me by his broad smile testifying to his joie de vivre. The composition of this contemporary pointillist portrait done with a painting knife illustrates in the foreground the character who is under a subdued light of a large tree thus providing a little freshness. The colors of the skin in the shaded areas reflect the heat and humidity that prevails. The look of the character also allows us to guess a clearing with a little greenery in front of him.
